Published on 11/04/12 at 01:02The Aviom AN-16/I Input Module is a 16 channel digital module that cost 1100 dollars online. It has 16 balanced ¼ TRS inputs and 16 balanced thru connectors. It can be racked and only takes up one rack space. We have not been using this unit long but in our time with it so far we have been very satisfied. It is easy to set up and understand. It comes with a manual that will explain everything to you if you need it and you can even go on the website and check out some of the beginners’ personal mixing system videos and tutorials/help videos. I have used many Aviom modules and mixers in the past and the quality of them is what inspired use to get the Aviom AN-16/I Input Module.
OVERALL OPINION
The value for the price is respectable; though I do wish it was a little cheaper it still is worth every penny of what it cost. It is well made and built like a tank. It will last you a long time and I am looking forward to using it a lot of over the years to come because I know it will last well over that time. Knowing what I know now I should have got the Aviom AN-16/I Input Module when it first came out because I could have got rid of another module that I was using at the time that was not working to well for us. If you are in need of a module that can convert your analog audio signals and channels in to a uncompressed digital signal then you have come to the right place. Let the Aviom AN-16/I Input Module hand le it all for it. It is affordable and works like a charm. This unit should last use a long time and save us money in the future from having to upgrade because it has enough channels for us.
