[NAMM] Dangerous Music Convert DACs
Dangerous Music is at NAMM 2015 to introduce a new series of rackable D/A converters for professional studios.
The new Dangerous Convert series features two 2 and 8-channel models based on proprietary D/A converters for the studio. Each model has a 1U rack format and features Peak over Average level meters.
You’ll find on the Convert 2 (2 channels) XLR right and left analog outputs, two digital AES - S/PDIF XLR ins and thrus, a 2-channel ADAT input, optical S/PDIF input, World Clock in and out, Ethernet In and Thru for remote control and a USB port.
With a higher number of channels on the Convert 8 (8 channels), the analog and digital AES - S/PDIF outputs and in/thru are available on DB-25 connectors, which leaves room for a second ADAT port, the other connectors are the same as on the 2-channel version.
Full details are expected soon at www.dangerousmusic.com.
