Dangerous Music announces the availability of the new Convert-2 and Convert-8 digital audio converters that were introduced at Winter NAMM.
The new Dangerous Music Convert series features respectively two 2– and 8-channel digital-to-analog converters in 1U rack format. They accept AES and S/PDIF digital signals on XLR connectors as well as optical S/PDIF on Convert-2 and DB25 connectors on Convert-8, as well as ADAT (2 ports on the Convert-8), Word Clock, Ethernet In and Thru and USB ports for the remote control. XLR is also used for the analog outputs.
Both models support up to 192 kHz sample rates.
The Convert-2 is available for the price of $2,499, pricing is $3,499 for the Convert-8.
