Just like the Avid S3L system, the VENUE|S3L-X is a modular Ethernet AVB-network system designed for live mixing and recording. Novelties include the ability to share the I/O from the VENUE Stageboxes (up to 64 channels) on multiple systems via the network with automatic gain compensation (works for FOH, monitor and broadcast).
Plus, you can set a mobile recording and mixing system by using the VENUE|S3 control surface and Pro Tools installed on a laptop with an active Ethernet connection, which also allows you to benefit from the AAX 64-bit plug-ins.
The Avid VENUE|S3L-X includes the VENUE|S3 control surface, the VENUE|3E engine, a VENUE|16 I/O stagebox, the VENUE and Pro Tools 11 software as well as a plug-in bundle.
