Beginners
1 - no problems with install as any install on MAC - drag and drop into the applications folder and presto it works ...!
2 - No conflict to date.
3 - Moderately easy to book a regulars and pro studio. The interface is clear but it is a software pro and complex enough so counterintuitive at first. Then there is no help ... Aie Aie Aie ... Manuel + recommended forums etc ...
4 - the manual is clear enough who knows the area well
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
1-Apple G5 dual (bi-pro) 2x2GHz DDRSDRam 1.5 GB HDD: 160GB Serial ATA 2 HDD int ext firewire 800 and 160 GB + 120GB portable Powerbook G4 Alu 1.25 1Ghz ram 80GB HDD for both / SuperDrive / sound card standards
(For those who come from around the 1GHz PC processor, Mac equivalent on average to a 2 GHz Pentium 4 This has been tested by the question pro and I could check it many times. The system is XP heavy for the poor was trainer processors
2 very fast on both Mac no huge difference on the dual G5 except encoding (MP3 etc ...) or it goes about 3 to 4 times faster!
3-1 rating! : 10/10 for performance (speed, quality of treatment ..) 7 / 10 for ease of use and 9 / 10 for the possibilities and functionalities
Advantages: Fast File Processing / Wide range pro in editing and creating audio CDs for mastering / sound quality very good / very good internal and external plugins / ability to import additional third-party plugins (VST etc. ..) / function "FX machine" that combines smart plugins from a matrix system (bypass etc. ..) and ultimately returns a well-balanced and dynamic good quality. / non-destructive treatment / very stable / no bugs
disadvantages: too complex for beginners and the interface could be a little more intuitive and less for a soft Sad OSX / burning to external software (Toast, Jam, YUburner etc. ..) on to. 2.6.0 (built on 2.8) / is missing to my knowledge, cutting-branding automated and customizable like wavelab (PC XP) is a super convenient tool to make corrections and edit the file /
This software is no longer followed because virtually integrated with other software in the German publisher of ammèliorations longer possible-except for little genies DIY and buy secondhand or "to borrow a friend!" / No direct assistance is sometimes painful built to move with the paper doc /
4 - Perfect stability on both configs
OVERALL OPINION
1 to 6 months of use
2 - for more speed and sound quality for a little less interface clutter and no automatic switching to edit
3 - Soundforge and Wavelab (PC P4 1.6 Ghz) - I was working with wavelab ultimately more comprehensive, clear and intuitive and mastering was by my taste compared to how slowly against mac!
4 - Value for money quite advantageous (but it's still too expensive!)
5 - Yes, without hesitation, move from PC to Mac what happiness means any easier, just faster but more stable, as many software choices, and especially good software! the above, SPARK XL is excellent in speed, sound quality and features, you just be patient to learn and discover a fair value.
