The new console will control the new Solution-D digital microphone series from Neumann.
“It will improve efficiency and performance tremendously since all features of Neumann’s Solution-D series can be edited, saved and recalled within production files and snapshots of the console, ” the companies say.
The announced advantages of this new solution are as follows:
• Quality
Loss-less transmission without reductions in signal quality, retaining the dynamic range and fidelity of a Neumann condenser microphone in a synchronized audio network, Neumann´s non-linear A/D converter technology enriches the mixing console’s signal path.
• Time
Easy-of-use operation of the remotely controlled microphones as a result of their high dynamic range in combination with an integrated high-class peak limiter and compressor
• Reliability
No interferences & no hum problems, perfect for live applications
• Customization
Storage of individual settings for Gain, PAD, Polar Pattern, Low-Cut, Stereo matrixing, Phase and limiters in each microphone as well as in the Eclipse mixer
