Without going back over every feature of the Korg SP 250, I'll just leave my impression on the positives and negatives.
Above all it is worth noting that I am an amateur pianist, I take courses for 1 year and I have the Korg sp 250 for 6 months.
Overall it meets the needs of beginners. For that he deserves 7 / 10

UTILIZATION

Keyboard:
positive aspects: it is a heavy touch. Thus, the transition to an acoustic piano will be worry-free. As proof, when I take my piano lessons (on a piano acoustic) I do not see any difference. One could even say that the feel of digital is heavier than the acoustic (although it should evoke the uniqueness of each acoustic piano ...).

negative aspects: it is a noisy keyboard, for my part I find it overly noisy. This is one reason that prompts me to change it because I had not noticed during testing in stores (noisy places ...). So let's be clear this keyboard is noisy: we hear the "clicks - clicks" in length pieces, we must put the volume loud enough to offset the noise of mechanics.

This is because it is noisy and it is annoying that I put 5 / 10 (careful, it's a review)

SOUNDS

Sounds ideal. Do not venture into the electric piano sounds, but after all we look for acoustic sounds. These guys are great.
I prefer the acoustic piano with a database 2: the sound is very clear.
For the answer to the touch, it is significant.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, this piano will satisfy the requirements of beginners.
But soon it will replace. I do, after 6 months I feel a bit constrained by the piano, an impression that does not make me move forward on other issues that touch: I would like to better control the pedal and the Korg does not allow it.

In fact, this piano is equipped with a pedal that acts pedal ("the sound is released" as enthusiasts say pianists!). And here the problem is that it is not at all realistic: you can leave it down for a while and pieces that will not be annoying, the sound will never be stifled.
But with an acoustic piano, leaving the pedal pressed makes a rough effect, stifled, no "readable" in some way and this is what the Korg restores badly.
For example, right now I am studying "The Heart Asks Pleasure First" by Michael Nyman. When I play on the Korg, no need to regularly lift the pedal, the sound is impeccable (not choked) from beginning to end. While the acoustic piano is an obligation to lift the pedal regularly.
On this point, we can say that there is a real shift to say the gap between acoustic and Korg. The transition to an acoustic becomes more difficult.

In conclusion, it seems to me that buying a Korg SP 250 is not relevant if you are given the means to invest 500/600 euros more, then switch to a digital piano better.
While 500/600 euros is a lot, you will find.
For example, I think selling my Korg SP 250 to buy a Yamaha Clavinova, if I will buy it again directly to the Yamaha Clavinova ...
But given the price, it is clear that it is very interesting, for that I put him 7 / 10, but while warning you of two problems (the keyboard and pedal noise).
