Keyboard 88 keys (seven octaves and a third).
3 pedals.

Very discreet control panel on the left side for however many settings:
- 20 different sounds combined two sounds "grand piano" very realistic
- Setting the tone (brightness) of seven sound levels
- Adjustment of the reverb effect
- Adjustment of the dynamic sounds (basically to highlight the serious and / or treble)
- Setting the release key
- Sensitivity adjustment of the keyboard (4 modes: light touch / normal / heavy, fixed response)
- Adjusting the resonance of the pedal
- Transposition (-6 semitones +5 semitones) and setting the pace (in 0.1 Hz)
- Metronome
- Etc.
Of course, you can save a custom setting. Personally, I find that the default factory is very suitable.

UTILIZATION

Very nice touch (with adjustable three-level response), natural, not overly heavy.
Unlike its big brothers (203/204/207 HP), this model does not simulate the "Escapement" key, but then you have to start being fussy to find this detail.
Small complaint about the keyboard cover in the open position is a little too close to the keyboard.

The manual (English / German / French) is comprehensive and very clear (45 pages per language).
Most settings are done by a combination of the four buttons on the control panel and the keyboard. If you want to play with the settings, it's simple but it is better to keep the manual close at hand or use the self-adhesive labels provided.

SOUNDS

The default sound (a grand piano) is very nice and realistic (sampled from a Steinway).
For those who prefer a brighter sound, no problem the brightness is adjustable.
Polyphony 128 voices, with the pedal it takes a vast scale.
Also a highlight of this piano is the harmonic resonance of the notes that gives a rich and authentic results. It feels to feel the presence of the piano strings.
The response of the keyboard allows a surprising expressiveness. A rating is not just stronger if it hits hard, it sounds different, it resonates more.
Very good response to velocity.
Other details, the impression that the sound comes from the cabinet as a whole and not two speakers.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it every day for two weeks.
I especially like the expressive possibilities of the piano and rich sound.
The many settings allow everyone to find happiness, that said the default is very satisfactory.
The finish is beautiful.

I tried several models before (Yamaha, Kawai, Casio) but that's what attracted me Roland.

Price later, bought new at € 1449 (with seat and headphone) in the store (after long hours of testing multiple pianos), I think it's a good price / quality ratio. Even a novice just hear and feel the difference with an entry level piano.
