K2000 rack version of the famous, can synthse unheard squenceur, sampler (optional), 2 SCSI ports, 4x2 audio outputs ... All t adj said on the technical specifications of the beast (see K2000 keyboard version) and jue am not a specialist in the thing. Note: 13 years APRS its release, this synth (and its revolutions / suites of course) remains one of the most complete and most powerful of the market.
One-great-regret: a little limited polyphony (24 channels).

UTILIZATION

Overall, the interface is quite simple, clear menus ... edition of the sounds, well, it really is the "thick", given the possibility of combining several types of synthse. Therefore requests a hand in Pisa srieuse enough to beginners ... but sometimes, your exact forcment is what the synth can do anything.

SOUNDS

The factory sounds, even if it is not the strong point of BCAN, are mostly very successful dj, trs alive, "hot". When the sonic possibilities ... tural see above. Any fawn, it is a machine made to create, not to stay on the plant presets that are in fact fairly small (200 I think) for a BCAN this range.

OVERALL OPINION

Buy (same here, thank you Eric!) 2 months ago to replace my K2000 keyboard, it is the OS version 3.54J with the sampling option (64 MB). The K2000 is the BCAN I was looking for a long time, powerful, versatile ... Say anything more, I got to Kurzweil and there is little chance that one day I m'arrte dsormais ... next step (when I have a trsorerie reconstitution is not to say tt on): the K2600? ...
