I use a Hercules console and a 4-mx mixer Berhinger DDM4000.

I use it to mix in the evening.

I have a Windows 7, with an Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 1TB of hard drive.

UTILIZATION

- The drivers are stable?
Yes, I have not had a problem with this sound card drivers.

- Are they often updated?
No, not need it works great.

- What you get lag?
There is a very good sound reproduction, no latency.

- What software do you use most often?
I use it with virtual dj 7, and I considered switching to traktor (studio, pro or duo)

- How many tracks you get to record / playback simultaneously?
You can either have three outputs and one input that is 2 out and 2 inputs.

- How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice? I find the price reasonable for the quality of the product, I do it again without hesitation that choice with experience.

Played with GarageBand 08 in Tiger and Leopard (PPC and Intel). I use it as a soundcard.
I can not give an informed opinion for a DJ use, nor the quality of treatment Phono (I come into line level), nor on the specific ergonomics.

GETTING STARTED

An easy installation for Mac. There is even a rather well-written paper manual ...

OVERALL OPINION

A small wonder. Full compatibility with systems and software mentioned above, great sound quality, use 4 in, 4 out (recording 4 different signals (or 2 stereo) 4-track mono (or 2 stereo) simultaneously. Moreover, a true manufacture "to old "(well, I am 54 years ...), the true metal, a very nice finish ... I use it only for a week, within days if the DJ trim molders I warn you. But I doubt much!

UTILIZATION

The drivers are not stable, the map is often useless, and just started. Many installations, and uninstalling ScanSnap, the product works randomly.
Cracking problems when using Fruityloops with this sound card (PC or FL are involved).

What thing do you like most/least about it? I love this look, its looks frankly it's very clean and solid semi-pro.
Did you try many other models before getting this one? yes I used a hercules dj console (the very little that everyone had to Dea ^ ^) and changes a lot.
What is your opinion about the value for the price? it depends on the price, I found it to 149 € was fine after a 200 € I think we can turn to the M-Audio?
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
To use that I did yes! any market is well and look to use a live DJ, if you want to do anything other than ba PICK mix with something else.
