Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ

I bought it for its size, read a little larger than that of a pack of cigarettes. I plug in my USB Mac and tracks (RCA) A and B on the mixer. Used with any mixer. Replaces vinyl and cd players.
My mac has the following properties:
- 2.7 GHZ i7
8g Ram
-750 DD
- Lion OSX 10.7.5

UTILIZATION

Used exclusively with Native Instruments Traktor, requires a driver that is stable.
Can play two tracks simultaneously.

GETTING STARTED

The installation is very simple, requires no computer knowledge increased. I never used the manual.

OVERALL OPINION

What I like most is its convenient size, portable and easy to use.
For the price it can properly mixed (99euros).
I'm basically on CD and Vinyl, my purchase was motivated by a trip where I could not move my equipment.

I was looking for a simple sound card with 2 outputs.

I use it with traktor pro on a macbook (core2duo 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM) with a BCR2000 and mircokkorg (cue points)

I plugged into my Djm 400 or 800 in the club.

driver installation required even on mac OSX that my astonishment, I was expecting the plug and play ... but hey it works on top

Sound card could not be more simple: USB powered, 2 wheel to adjust the output of each A and B, and 2 ¼ "cable / RAC.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost a me.

The +:
- The small (credit card) that fits everywhere!
- Simplicity
- Quality

the -:
- The knobs to adjust the output level indicator did not settle for the coup was necessary to put them back and make references to blanco or other ...
- The price a little high for printed circuit board with only a plastic shell, but it's good quality

I bought it to use mix and connect it to my mixer VMC 002 XLU.

My god it's small, it's great.

UTILIZATION

Drivers are very good, especially on Windows 7 X64.

I use it in games, DirectSound, ASIO and it works as well.

the enormous addition to the sound card is the fact that each output is separately in DirectSound, which I always prefer the sound DirectSound instead of asio. Here I am thrilled. I'm running in Directsound in 4ms.

In asio not tested but I'm certainly able to go down a little.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been only one week that I used.

This sound card was first purchased in order to have been correct meters on my table because my VMC 002 Previous MAYA 44 SE does not provide enough power.

Needless to say it, give it power, I had to decrease by 5% the power of the sound card to avoid being in the red in many songs.

The sound is much better, there is no comparison. the other big plus is the output considered a separate sound card in DirectSound. In DirectSound, it much better and that people in all soft mix.

The value for money looks good to me considering the quality and sound that's pretty miniaturée point.

At earlier I had a Maya and Sounblasterlive 44SE and some PC sound card, this meant nothing comparable.

In short, for this budget to do and redo.
