To summarize briefly, it is a non-touch digital multi effect rack that features a small sampler that rendering is very effective.

It is oriented live whether you are a DJ or vocalist (beatboxer for example) but the sound quality of the original sampler and effects can certainly make it very interesting to use in the studio.
The Kaoss Pad 3 comes with an editor for computer, but I have never tested to date.

Connections:
- 6.35 jacks for headphones and microphone
- 1 input and 1 RCA output

UTILIZATION

For beginners like me on the sampler

Quite intuitive, however, we must initially consult the manual provided is concise enough to access the advanced features.

The manual for the use I have done so far seemed sufficient as far as one can easily find on the net video tutorials.

I have not tried to edit the sound effects or so for me: no comment

SOUND QUALITY

the effects are very effective and can change their intensity.

In terms of including the Kaoss Pad 3 in a DJ set, the impact of sound effects is really pronounced and striking efficiency.

The party sampler is very well done and the sample has a grain of ideal compression. I was really amazed. Rendering samplées source even with a microphone jack voice is impressive authenticity in the reproduction.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about a year. I've never tried or seen anything like this machine so far to compare, but we can say that it's a Swiss Army knife is very versatile and effective in each of the features it offers.

I got it at a good price at my local dealer but I found the price a little high at first. But as soon as you open the box we find a robust machine looks and impeccable finish.

Have not yet really used the camera, I use very occasionally so I told him not yet assigned a specific role in all projects that I might need to use it so I can 't advance on the particularity that prefers or that I like least.

I had no specific need to start but I think the Kaoss Pad 3 can really add an extra dimension at the end of creation or mix (dj and studio) if one is interested enough.

Even without a high degree of experience and with the budget for this choice I do it again without hesitation.
