Six months now that I use and I am far from having made the rounds. We can directly connect a turntable, rack hardware, pc or its mixer. An entry for the headset, one for the microphone, a few knobs and go. We need nothing more but may be a USB version in the future which will make the controller of the century!
UTILIZATION
Operation is extremely simple, it must be taken to beginners as a toy, try DIFFERENT effects (100), the sampler, then read the manual to understand the few functions "caches" that ressellent button Hold or the Pad Motion / Mute, which allows for example to mute the sound while leaving the effect jou The pad is a rgal and that's exactly what I expected from the KAOSS: return ct " touch "that can have a real instrument!
SOUND QUALITY
Audible is the quality which to me most Drout beginners. I found some effects bland see cheap! But it's just that my ear silent a little too used to the sounds of Amon Tobin and Aphex Twin and the need to replace the object's place: 100 pad with tactile effects for less than 300euros of OCCAZ '!
It was seen as dchire all, the effects are as good trs is not used in mastering, in these cases we add a zero-!
OVERALL OPINION
APRS six months of use, I use it more and more to fiddle with the sounds of old vinyl without using my computer, which makes this so fun and playful INTERESTED! I can spend two hours just to play with, I would have done things that if I had more INTERESTED pass 6 hours in Cubase or Live!
A good toy Proffessional in its class, with a good value for quality of trs OCCAZ '(it's true that nine was a bit expensive).
