the korg understand a loop editor that can record up to 4 concurrent live track. It can also record your favorite loops or in a SD (memory cell 100) or directly into your PC using a USB cable or twelve o'clock. Only drawback, it can not load the loop for an active reading. You can connect a microphone (XLR), a disable input and headphone input jack for plugging in any other instrument in order to record directly into your loops.

UTILIZATION

KAOSSILATOR handling is extremely simple! there is a free software download that allows tranfer the USB and Midi files in 2 directions and that is just as easy to use. Even someone who is not a musician can use it without problem. The hand touch is attractive and is also very sensitive.

SOUND QUALITY

The type of sounds is based primarily on electro sounds, but there are also some sounds of acoustic intruments like piano, drums, guitar or bass that are sufficiently realistic and surprisingly for this type of console.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years and I never tire of it! combined with the Kaoss Pad 3 it is a combination of professional live! the pro Kaossilator makes sounds and KAOSS PAD 3 lets you manipulate any sound emitted by external (microphone / voice, piano, etc. ... KAOSSILATOR). The value for money is really exellent! It is very advantageous especially for the live or even a trip in a personal session electro.

there are some classic effects, filter type, vocoder ... I do not remember because I have all the KP3 and kaos pro was using that for synthée.

OVERALL OPINION

1 year and a half.

Avenue of the past I had the KAOSS pro kaos simple and I have not regretted the purchase.

what I missed and could not returned samples in the synth and a little lack of varied style to play.

value for money is quite correct.

Everything has been said in previous opinions in characteristics.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use for those who had little Kaoss. Even for beginners it's still a machine accessible.
Seeking, there are features that are not clearly outlined in the manual:
For example, for the arpeggiator, I do not really understand how to use it at the beginning: we must first choose using the switch speed mode and then choose what we want (0.5 by example) then switch back time to have fun with this speed there. If you want to change the speed, it need to go back the other way etc.. Besides the small flaw of this is that famous kaoss switch that is not really accessible at the rear: a button on the front would have been better.

No editions of sound either, it would have been more significant. Maybe in a future update who knows?

As for downloadable software, it allows you to set the config noon and programmable memories. Can save in eight banks, sounds with their own notes and octave interval which saves time live.

SOUND QUALITY

Very good sound especially in stereo effects. Batteries are actually a little more than provided in the small Kaoss. Besides most of the sounds of it have been included.
For some cons make me feel to duplicate as closely (especially in the lower).
The vocoders also pleasantly surprised me
In all cases it is a very versatile machine even if it is oriented Electro / Dance.

OVERALL OPINION

Received 15 days there, I'm having always the same with. Within minutes we begin to make the pieces quite complete with.
It's really the logical continuation of previous Kaoss: with the contribution of the 4 loops, it can bring a lot of dynamics and opportunities (including playing with the length and volume loops). And yet I still do not use the line inputs!
It did seem like much this machine, but it has in its belly.

In summary:
The pros:
- Very good sound
- 4 loops
- Backup program.

The -:
- Sounds non-editable (but good with line inputs or SD card can increase the already wide range of sounds available)
- Button mode arpeggiator not very accessible at the rear.
