Not tried so many models ... Sennheiser HD202 my faithful companion for my home studio and DJing will serve as comparison.

Let me explain: Purchased to use with my new smartphone instead of ITE provided by Sony Ericsson. The result is disappointing. Ok it is nice and compact on the ears but I find it uncomfortable ... Password for this type of headphone nomad. As against the sound is disappointing. I searched the bass on several styles of music but it's still too serious medium. No subwoofer or too little. Reproduction too "pot". Even the treble are less than perfectly clear. My intra Sony Ericsson does a better job on the two extremes. It is shocking to the Pioneer at that price I think. So I go to AKG K518DJ little more expensive but what a difference!
