I particulirement will appreciate the power of sound (not against trs suited to monitoring).
Comfort is falsely Submitted: the 1st time you put on the ears, is "wouaw" ... APRS 20 minutes, it's "Ae, bobo" ...
The quality of manufacture is a real sham: trs nice and solid, this headphone is really fragile. I broke a wire strength of internal wear store in the splendid cover. It is also impossible to change (pice dtach connection pro-found and Sony (impossible to do a weld)

- How do you report qualitprix?
Trs excessive, given the low manufacturing quality and comfort.

- With the exprience, you do again this choice?
Certainly not (I dtest Sony + in +).

I use it for 3 months

- What is the particular feature you like most, the least?
The pros: the quality of cost, because it serves well the head (yes you rotate it does not fly), the twisted wire design and good bass, to mix c 'is perfect.
the -: I think that we should not play with the stent for the tower head: many people complain of the problem in the renga in its cover ... We must bend as little as possible. In addition it is a pity that we can not unplug the cable to the ear, as on the Technics RP-DH 1200.

- How do you report qualitprix?
I bought it on the internet at "Th .." for 105 and I find that price raisonnalbe. APRS is found as 160 and even more: I find it Exess.

Yes for now I do it again this choice, as long as it takes, so good

Edit: After a year and a half, I'm still happy with my purchase, it is a pure joy that headphone!

I have good headphones for 4 years now. 130euros I bought in a shop in Paris.
I want to say that this is a DJ headset, I repeat to people who note by using it for monitoring.

Otherwise the ais I 4years and is like new, except that I recently replaced foam, no problems with notches on the Hanseatic League's headphone, in short it's solid (when we bought the real and not a copy and it is used normally)

In the end I think it makes them that ask him, and rather well. The prices are not given but its competitors are the same price or even more (Pioneer, A & H, technics .....)

I have this headphone now for a good month.

Before buying it I read reviews on internet normment for headphones knowing that I had a budget of 100 euros.
I could also try the headphones of friends. But they all have the "sub-brand" and I n'tais never satisfied.
Finally I started a little blindly for a headphone that I had never tried. He l.

Very satisfied with my purchase, a good record for the mix (low and presents well AIGE also). It is extremely powerful and very well isolated even in very noisy night I never had to put very strong. And use maximum power would redeem himself eardrums.
I used to has more generally listen to my music also. It is in use on this final we can blame the mids down but hey, it is not for the base. And has remained satisfactory.
APRS twisted wire is a joy and also the adapter screw. We note the presence of even a small carrying case (very basic, but filled out its functions).

What I like least, it shook me a bit (but I have a big head) without being unbearable and not blow me a little sore ear cartilage.
Note also that it is quite heavy but I do feel that after 2 or 3 hours a strain on the neck.

The report is very good qualitprix my eyes and I will take this headphone without hesitating.

It remains to see what he will in time but it seems robust enough.

Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I tried a JBSystems HP 2000 Pro and a Numark (who have nothing to do with sony!) And DJ Shure SRH-750 (equivalent to Sony)

What thing do you like most/least about it?
What I like most about this headset is the first design (it has the mouth while remaining sober), a beautiful finish, it looks solid (but what it really is in time ???), the earbuds are very comfortable. But the big positive (and fortunately saw the price!) Is the sound quality of the beast. The sound is clear, the bass is very present, it is perfect for mixing. The clip is just strong enough not to fall or the headphone too much to compress the skull, it is hardly felt. I find it rather light.
The downside is that the atria are shallow (unlike the Shure HRS 750). Suddenly, the ears are compressed and it gets a little painful after a while. The second negative point is not just the headphone, the headphone opening the box, I discovered a ridiculous carrying pouch They reportedly could make a small effort considering the price!)

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
The ratio Q / P is excellent (ordered from thomann for - of 100euros) and quality is to go.

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
I do not have that headphone for a long time and yet I'm already conquered. Go ahead buy it !!!!!!

The Sony MDR-V700DJ's are a set of headphones that are designed and marketed as headphones for DJ's, but they're definitely suitable for a variety of purposes. I've used the MDR-V700DJ's for checking and monitoring tracks during tracking and mixing. We've got a pair of these at the studio where I'm working, and while they aren't regarded as the best headphones around those parts, they're definitely fine for monitoring during recording and for listening back on. They're pretty comfortable headphones, and you can definitely tell that they're designed so that you can easily remove one ear if you want to, as they're flexible in this way. I've certainly worn more comfortable headphones, but these do just fine for sparse use. The overall sound of the Sony MDR-V700DJ is realistic for a set of headphones for sure, but doesn't boast a crazy amount of low end as you'd imagine that a set of DJ headphones should. They're not going to be okay to mix on or anything like that, but then again I probably wouldn't recommend mixing on too many different pairs of headphones. I'd say that they're fine for A/Bing mixes, but there are definitely better suited headphones out there for this application as well. I don't know if these would be my first choice for general recording studio headphones, as Sony themselves has better suited headphones within the same price range, but I also can't say that I'd argue with anyone who liked these better for this purpose either. It's really all about taste and individual comfort with headphones like these, as these in particular are definitely more than adequate for all studio applications other than mixing. If you unsure about a set of headphones to go with, I'd encourage you to check out a few of the other Sony products out there in the MDR line of headphones, as there are headphones out there for all purposes and to fit all budgets...
