Value For Money : Excellent
I have this controller with the double CD dedicated reader. I tested in single CD player, in one evening I realized, for using a lot of models, as it holds the upper hand in the double drive.
I found one of OCCAZ and I use it in addition to cd turntables or Pio alone with his CD player.
the caracteristics? Denon go online, there are too many.
Compact but not at the expense of sound quality and ease of base mix. We ask no more a double, functions scratch effect is forgotten here.
Config computer pentium core 2 1g of ram 160 HDD X2 for use with Traktor and VDJ. VDJ seems to fit me and not planted any file (with traktor yes ...). I'm no expert, but everything is pitch bend, tempo mix, use and research and use files on computer etc., is really nice and cozy. The trays are accurate and responsive despite their size. The pitch amazingly accurate despite its size. The look "smooth" style CD is finally an advantage. The keys play / cue and others are very nice after a little time to adapt. For cons, I'm a little disappointed by the latency of start buttons (mode dvs course, not cd). A test, I do it with the same piece of music started on a specific cue on the CD player on the device and VDJ or Traktor ... So back to the cd to mix certain styles of music or some remix house. I tried to make adjustments on the computer without meaningful result.
The interface moves with a mix Rack 19 '. It can bring over a classic board. I did do a little fly (photo).
The price is good value for those who have no means to afford the new Pioneer (I talk to have them tested). Ideal for who wants to reduce the volume of CDS and transported in the evening never to put pressure to get the piece that passes only once every 5 years. Unless something better for a reasonable budjet, I have not the means to pass on the matétiel (beaucoup. .. really) more expensive just to get better starts ...
I was asked to change so I tested quickly made "all in one" and Denon traktor ... I was somewhat disappointed by the ergonomics of the control surfaces and the really tiny, fragile and poorly placed buttons Play cue. I prefer to keep my set at the moment and I think this unit is far from being exceeded. He still holds the road well, works fine using cd him. I begin to use more and more over the evening feeling that reliability is quite the appointment.

Drivers nickel after recording device.
Tested with Tracktor, I lost two days ... music tracks and some bug. I can not understand everything.
Then purchased and downloaded Virtual DJ ...: running in 10 minutes. It's great, clear ergonomic sense. on the other hand for instant starts it's cooked, too much latency is too feels the difference with the start of a CD. For the rest of the commands in the mix and the tempo after a little practice it's going really well.

See above

I've just started but some tests I realized that it does ...
Other models? Denon 2500 with the internal HDD. It is also good, but more reserved for use on the sessions prepared and rehearsed. At issue: the menu, access and research are barely legible on the screen too small. The use of 2500 requests a time getting started, so it is more intuitive and faster with the 4500 and Virtual DJ. Maybe a bit too for using the software only to mice before ...
For now I like everything, especially the ergonomics, sound and touch readers Denon. Flat for latency but I miss back and there may be adjustments. For the rest, we will use.
With the purchase of expensive software, but I think profitable over time.
