I have this controller with the double CD dedicated reader. I tested in single CD player, in one evening I realized, for using a lot of models, as it holds the upper hand in the double drive.

Config computer pentium core 2 1g of ram 160 HDD X2 for use with Traktor and VDJ. VDJ seems to fit me and not planted any file (with traktor yes ...). A test, I do it with the same piece of music started on a specific cue on the CD player on the device and VDJ or Traktor ... So back to the cd to mix certain styles of music or some remix house. I tried to make adjustments on the computer without meaningful result.

The price is good value for those who have no means to afford the new Pioneer (I talk to have them tested). Then purchased and downloaded Virtual DJ ...: running in 10 minutes. It's great, clear ergonomic sense. on the other hand for instant starts it's cooked, too much latency is too feels the difference with the start of a CD. Other models? Denon 2500 with the internal HDD. It is also good, but more reserved for use on the sessions prepared and rehearsed.
