Published on 05/22/14 at 10:42I still little used.
Most:
- Appearance quality materials.
- Many existing spare parts (on site intrumentals parts eg)
- Turntables that faithfully reproduce the feel of vinyl.
- All in one
- Quality akai pads that respond perfectly
- Cue points in addition to pads which use different functions without the need to change the "menu" (ie cue + sample can cue or loop more ...)
- Ability to add effects on the filter combo
- Quality sound card
- Connectors
- Opportunities
Least:
- All in one
- Relatively heavy
- Waiver of certain functions that were present on the version: crossfader start, integrated computer stand (optional here ... but adding managements effects / a Version)
- To check: it does not seem possible to have effects in the cue "cue" (only on master)! I find that a shame ... I say check because like that, at first glance, it does not work. May be a function to activate the software? To see.
- Sometimes small bugs regarding departures and judgment: the speed of the latter can be changed with a knob (+ / - fast) ... well it happened to me without understanding why the disc starts slowly while the knob was set to fast ... or it also stops slower (all with sound effects accordingly).
- Effects on paid option (for some) .... way to the principle (but concerns serato dj not the ns7)
- Traktor limited compatibility (as well as other software I think) ... not possible to have access to "turning" function discs
- Buttons play / pause a little "temperamental" in fact it must be frankly support, otherwise it is a kind of false start (perhaps because they are new)
Despite these minor drawbacks, the NS7 II is a very good machine! but for use exclusive Serato (due to limited compatibility with other software).
Some improvements (preview effects eg) would be welcome!.
See in time with more use to assess the long term.
