Mixed in Key has launched the final version of Flow, its new DJ mixing software introduced last month.
Flow offers a new approach for DJs who want to remix their tracks on the fly. It offers a new beat grid system with an automatic detection of the changes in the track which allows for beatmatch and crossfade inside the same track.
The interface offers three screens that will help you along the full process of preparing, live playing and exporting your sets and playlists. The Dynamic Playlist feature shows in the library only the tracks that are harmonically compatible and eliminates the others and to help your refine your search, a Top 100 is created with the tracks that have been most played in the last week, month or ultimate 6 months.
Plus Flow includes the upcoming Mixed in Key 6.0 software with its automatic Energy and pitch detection feature.
The software is compatible with any MIDI controller, including Native Instruments Traktor.
Flow is available on Mac OS X and Windows, for the price of $58. You can download a trial version from flowdjsoftware.com.
