Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Bass Drum Pedal

In the market for a new double bass drum pedal i borrowed my buddies’ Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Bass Drum Pedal. This pedal is no beginner pedal, it is expensive and is meant to be used incombination with a skilled drummer who knows what he or she is looking for in a set and wants to get something that fits to his or her needs. This pedal is for turning a single kick drum into a double setup, easily without having the burdon of a second kick drum and needing to tune them perfectly.
I have found that this pedal fits those rockers who are deep into metal and fusion alike. The precision of this double kick really comes into play when doing triplets on kick or fast paced doubles. This pedal feels great on the feet, and allows a ton of customization of feel, to zero in on a specific kind of force feedback required and demanded by the owner. The pedal is smooth beyond a doubt, and this is great for session work. I really liked the bearings as they were silent and supposedly never need oiling. Maintenance to a greater degree is nothing to worry about with this setup, i can see in the last 5 years the drum pedal has come a long way. Iron cobra days are over. If you have the money to shell out about 600 dollars or so, I would get this double kick and never look back. The ease of use and maintenance free life of use will make up the costs if you plan on using this thing for 5 years or so. And that should be no problem, because with the technology behind this pedal, I don’t see a need to upgrade anytime soon. Then again, for the price of this pedal one can get a PDP drum set or a nice guitar. I mean it really is a selective purchase that comes down to a few small decisions: 1. having the nicest best pedal is a must, and 2. crazy technology savy user who can make use of a double kick in a majority of percussions. I am neither of those two so I opted to return the kick to my friend and purchase a cheaper DW double kick which was well below half the price of this one and suits my needs beyond the call.

The Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Bass Drum Pedal is a top tier double bass pedal for use with your drum kit. Obviously, a pedal like this is in place of actually having two separate bass drums. I’m not an expert when it comes to drum gear like this, but did recently get to try out this double kick pedal and was really impressed. First off, the sound possible with this is incredible as it beats nice and hard and is perfect for hard rock and metal. The feel of it is definitely the best part, as I’ve never felt a better feeling double bass drum pedal. It really makes it as easy as possible to control each of the pedals individually. A drummer recently brought this in on a session that I was working and I was lucky enough to get to try it out after the session was done. Of course I wasn’t able to make it sound quite as good as the professional session drummer who was using it, but could instantly tell how smooth the pedal was. He was using the Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Bass Drum Pedal along with a Pearl kit as well, although I’m not sure if this makes any difference at all and wouldn’t think it would. The price of the Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Bass Drum Pedal definitely isn’t cheap as you could get a super cheap drum kit for the price of this pedal. It’s definitely intended for professionals who are going to be using a double kick pedal on a consistent basis. I don’t know if they make them better than the Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Bass Drum Pedal but if they do I’d be seriously impressed. I’d probably shy away from this because of the price unless you’re a very experienced or professional drummer with a top tier kit already…

What is so special that you like most and least?

I must say things as they are, while drummer can find his account in this pedal. Settings are infinite is also its only weak point with its price. It took me 2/3mois before finding the ideal setting (bat angle, long or small sole, and so on ...). But I am now very happy and my only increase performance and make new technique provides you with this pedal.

I would do this choice without any doubt, after 2 years no play no friction is felt! This pedal is an extension of your feet so that the wand is an extension of your arm!

I had these pedals for a while before reselling trs acqurir quickly to new MAPEX FALCON I highly recommend (see my review elsewhere)
Well I would say they are certainly beautiful and attractive as such a pretty girl but too lgres PEARL! !
I prfre largely my Strong and Fidler MAPEX ah ah! !
Besides this advantage PEARL glory which to them seem important but I think just the opposite! !
Because of a (the lgeret so) it seems not to have any impact rel and false bottom of the box is all rponse FBRIL and shy! !
Eggs so ho hum! MAPEX Viva! !
