USE

Yes, the handle half ovode is very pleasant.
trslgre, which increases its quality.
the right sound? Martin sound .. what better

Bought in 1998 in the USA, $ 800.
Mahogany neck, solid sitka pica table.
Rosewood bridge
Funds and three sheets rolled into fishplates: rosewood / mahogany / rosewood, which is exceptional.

Difficult diffrencier a "great" Martin first glance.

UTILIZATION

I did not want Martin priori. I wanted a Gibson Hummingbird hand.
And I came across this D1R enfonait which all others, with an unbeatable price.

The neck is thin and comfortable, low action with no frizz.

SOUNDS

It sounds "like a piano. Deep bass, medium rather obviously (this is a guitar ...), acute harpsichord.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it daily for 12 years.

The problem of this guitar has Plutt t Martin: they made a blunder by producing a commercial guitar even looks a D-18, with the same quality of sound and two CHRE times less ...
Feedback from the exit as musicians rave, Martin first tried to change the sound by changing the handle (for, I think, a cedar handle) and then they eventually abandon the D1 and D1-R would have probably done too much shade to others.

Conclusion: if you have one, do like me, do not sell!
