    Seagull S6+ Spruce

    Seagull S6+ SprucePublished on 07/24/04 at 15:00
I bought my Seagull S6+ Spruce at a local shop in Southern Utah. It was on sale, and I got it for about $350 (listed at $375-$425). I had heard that it was a good guitar, and I was looking for one, since I had just been using my dad's old one, which wasn't too good. So between the sale and recommendations from both the merchant and my teacher, I decided to buy it.

Beautiful sound gets better with age, much easier to tune than guitars in the same price range, full sound. Basically: I love it.

No significant problems. But there are no third and ninth fret marks and it's a little wide in the neck. After playing more, I would prefer a cedar top, but that's a personal preferance issue.

I've heard they hold up well, and mine is in great condition, but I baby it. One problem is the softness of the top.

great guitar, great line, great manufacturer: buy it!

Got this first Guitar from musiciansbuy.com, Got Guitar and case for around $350 with hard shell case which is remarkable in comparison to hometown dealers whis price the guitar alone at $375-$425

Sound, enough said this bad boy sounds better every time i play it!!, glorious action, alot of Seagull players complain about the neck width, but i learned on a twelve string so it feels great to me! It is a beauty of craftsmanship, Price was great i was looking at An Ibanez AE20 with Fishman pickups, for about $350, But in comparison to sound, detail, quality, and price, It doesn't hold a Candle to the Seagull

The olny thing that makes me un easy is the softnesss of the top, I thoght i was about to drop it, went to catch it and hit my thumbnail in the top, immediate dent, but if you take care of it, it will take care of you!

Handmade, can't beat it, sturdy, a TON of attention and Care went into this Guitar and it shows, Just the basics Baby! all i need nothing i Don't

Great investment, looking foward to playing it for years to come, Great Sound and Price, couldn't find a better Guitar in the Price range, and i looked Hard! Wonderful Instrument
