Made in USA, manufactures series by John Stover in Illinois 2003 2007 (less than 400 in all) including mahogany D78, D80 Saddle, D82 and D84 Rosewood Koa.
Sitka table, body and neck binding Saddle ond abalone rosette, fingerboard and bridge Ebne, we are in the world of Larrive D09, D32 Lakewood, Guild D50/D52V........une particularity Mahogany viss (Taylor / Tacoma like, Tacoma was also manufactured for Washburn in the years 80/90 to the Native American series, before Dana Bourgeois)

UTILIZATION

D while a conventional, non-cutaway or electronics without default handle .... but not too wide at the nut from the top, we must apply the cons .... By mid agu n is not flush with the button, so no draping of the little finger:)

SOUNDS

Great sound (my taste and that of all those who try), although large, powerful, and specific on Retailer, harmonics everywhere, I still try diff ferent sets of strings with Elixir medium rather it shines a little too peut'tre, we will test Martin Marquis ...
The mdiator is also important, nuances are very noticeable ... still much work to get the best, the strait handle demand precision re-learn a little game:) and as it is 2004 (NOS), it should wake up a little!

OVERALL OPINION

By purchasing the Guild JF30 in 1997 i was dropped on a Washburn D55 Cherokee factory by Dana Bourgeois, and i was pat rest by the sound (and price, JF30 exploded dj Budget ...).... I landed on a Washburn USA by chance a great price on Ebay and I took the risk, 970 euros HT 1800/1900 cons in the few stores that offer the. .. and I did well! I sure do not resell it as a D28, but I do not buy to resell!
