New for 2012, Mapex is introducing the next drumset in its Black Panther line of kits – the Retrosonic.
Retrosonic features shells that are walnut and outfitted with the Retrosonic tube lugs and Sonic Saver hoops. With a Walnut Burl veneer finish, it comes as a three-piece setup.
The Black Panther Retrosonic is available in the following set up: 22" × 16" Bass Drum without mount, 12" × 08" Tom and a 16" × 16" Floor Tom. 20 sets will be built for sale in the U.S.A.
The Retrosonic, like all Black Panther drum kits, is modeled after the snare drum of the same name. The 8.1mm / 9ply shells come with a Walnut Burl veneer that is finished with a light satin lacquer coating.
Pricing & Availability:
Retrosonic will be available beginning in March 2012 at an MSRP of $3,799.00.
