Superb machine to capture live or studio,
24 I / O analog and ADAT,
quality conversion increased gnration compares the previous, but the 96K is still brid 12 tracks!
comes with 2 40GB HDD (24 hours or 7 tracks 24/44.1)
UTILIZATION
The largest default is my lack of taste monitor section, forcing move a console or rack line mixer, so the weight, space, it's a shame!
I use the basic 24 channel Mackie Onix amps pr 800R, which makes the HD24XR 6U of space, but I have to bring a console to monitor ptite all in making live!
what brand offers a line mixer 24 channels not chr 2U rack with pan and solo tracks??
Apart from the 16 channel behringer rack?? I do not see!
also a great solution to Protools LE and Digi002, allowing 24 runs to enter a court and mix in protools via the import Fireport ger!
it can also serve as a converter 24 channels at a console numrique
the principle liaison network via ethernet seems to me ill-suited to the format of a greedy 24 tracks of 24 bits which no Fireport prefer the connection much faster!
SOUNDS
For the price it is the best compromise in 2005 (report tracks / hard / quality)
convert internal sound is beautiful and even in ar 24/44.1 is a machine that competes well with large systems (Pro Tools HD converters 96I / O for example).
It also allows musicians to reminds what a destructive punch!! hum hum! and younger to registry renewal without risking edition.
OVERALL OPINION
For less than 5500 euros can now afford a simple kit with a good old Mackie M24 / 8 + HD24XR and allows saw the current market the disc out of systems of reliable and lightweight in terms of implementation work and cost!
it will offer only the work of a conventional magnto 24 tracks, that of a 24-channel ADDA converter, backup work or postponement of gnrateur clock digital and MTC.
L or Mackie is the king of the "little console", Alesis always keeps its position as the Market leader magnto numrique dmocartis grace the quality of sound, the simplicity and the reliability About the price! bravo!
short, dedicates a solution, both modern and nostalgic!
