I started with this hardware!
t enjoyable and I surprised by the friendly ct of the product and the quality of sound.
the "rere" do not agree at all, even when one takes a small fragment trs.
you can record 8 tracks simultanment ditto reading, it also possde virtual tracks, useful for multiple takes of the chorus.
We can choose frquence sampling and sync with the table is through a simple coaxial cable (often not "clock synchronization" on the table)
It communicates with the table by 2 Cables Optical (ADAT in / out).
requires an external hard drive to record one can put several in series. (the problem is that now the Disques.D. compatible are harder to find than the VR-800!: thinking of buying it 'ocas. with the VR-800). Trs intuitive to use, it is a good product for beginners only inconvniant: it soon becomes hungry number of tracks!

8-track recorder, plus 16 virtual tracks, while numrique on internal hard drive or SCSI. Sampling of the frquence fixed 44.1kHz without conversion: it does not accept 48kHz signals (damage). It locks onto the incoming digital signal that possde but output word clock.

No analog input, this machine Pipelines Limited to be used with an 8-channel ADAT converter or console numrique.

UTILIZATION

The VR800 can be used as a recorder / player ultra simple complment numrique a console, but functions compltes edition are also available, although the manual Retailer 120 pages.

For starters, you can not get any easier with the default config: select a song, track record, Play / Rec, and go!

Samplitude J'dite my songs, so I will not srement need to do in the VR800. So I can not judge the ease of shipping.

OVERALL OPINION

I reu VR800 the same day. Bought used for a mouth of bread, I'll TRANSFR prmixes the pieces of my 8-track, which will be much more flexible than a CD or MD player (sparation tracks rhythmic and instrumental mtronome spar and certainly more reliable than my pc: live, I can not afford to have any drop.

For less than 100 euros, no computer can control in terms of ease of use and reliability for reading multitrack. I have not had a chance to test it in terms tural, but I soon emmnerai scne on with confidence. It really is the machine for idalie complter my 01v.

OVERALL OPINION

Used for 3 years without regard to teach a "studio sound" Never any problems.
It's a great machine for small grants.

If you find less than 150 €, you throw it.
A downside, however: there must be an IDE hard drive in it if you do not have SCSI disk. The Beast is sold without hard drive.

OVERALL OPINION

is an extraordinary machine. the back of a numerical bound in ADAT, you have a DTD 8 tracks (eight catches for other virtual) super reliable.

the keys are big and bright, but the appearance smarties is regrettable for such a machine.

functions Loop / punch work very well including via switch.

What I regret: the format of the box-type desktop and the screen is not particularly lumineur (because not enough inclined)
