«  A great surprise! »

Published on 06/13/13 at 01:59
It is neither more nor less than a stereo tape on compact flash. Inputs / outputs and analog balanced asymmetrical, and coaxial digital level.
A wired remote control is provided, and is almost essential to have access to certain functions.
There is a commade pitch in frontage, configurable, a sufficiently sized screen.
Next record is either wav or mp3, good "old" 16/44.1.

The use is not too complicated, once configured on some important parameters, the key is rather simple.
In my case, it serves as my Tascam "notepad" musical, in a moment I can start a recording, it is the same for reading.

The surprise is good, I like the sound alot comes out of this machine, I only use WAV and not MP3, with a card of at least 8GB, there is plenty to do!
Warning to the quality of the card used, it takes a good (Lexar, for example), I have another one a little low-cost as a problem!

At his level, for me it's all good, it is dynamic, quiet with a wide bandwidth. The pitch is excellent quality, it does not alter the stamps and is very boring in some cases.

Purchased expo (used only once by the store), I got to a pittance. I do not really know this recording on flash memory concept is super fast and convenient. Wav, we can map on a computer, then burn a CD if necessary, it is a very flexible use.
The Q / P ratio is very good, very well built, solid, and very powerful!

Today Tascam offers several products of this type, there are among others that HD-R1 records in 24/96, but the SS-R1 with its 16/44.1 is already sufficient and qualitative models for quality.
