«  The quintessential analog »

Published on 01/02/11 at 09:19
Come on, I launched into a quick summary of the beast.

It's very simple, in terms of sound, we reached the epitome of analog. The sound is full, detailed, accurate: it was designed at a time when the high-end market focused on music, not on mysticism audiophile.

What I like most about him (and yes, we know well now ...), that electronic sound amazing. We open the box, and you come across huge components and wiring in the air first choice.

The amp weighs about 30 kg, and could easily withstand a nuclear attack ...

Frankly, I do not mind if this is the price that it cost at the time (one forumer said AF 18 000 francs). The current model, the 750G is still manufactured, and will cost a whopping $ 2000 dollars.

If I had to keep an amp (and I tested a lot of amp), this would be it. If you are looking for better sound, you have two options: modify it, or spend 3000 euros in a Naim (and again, the sound is different, but not really better).

I had 2 (like you Atceles !!!), I sold one, and I intend to keep the other until he passed away. Appointment in 30 years??
