I have two phonic max 2500 for 6 years: RAS
I have 2 versions, the first with the ventilation central facade and the 2nd with the facade redesigned and further back (not the 2500 plus released much later and much cheaper)
after opening 2 amps for cleaning components are identical.
the first to use with sub sub 8ohm stereo mode: the receiver requires a level of sizeable and arrive fast enough to clip. the limiter is doing its job. I pulled in 2 sub 46 650 w rms each (thus amp far too low) ca sounded good but without extraordinary pressure.
since I always used in parallel with these two subs flush either.
2 ° 4 medium acute head 300w. its very clean. nothing to say in this price range.
In summary for the first 2 version (I do not know the max 2500 plus) it's rib.
