I MX1500a 2 in bridge mode to power 2 18in sub Gladiator EV (400w continuous 1600w peak).
Many power bridge mono mode (1000w 8 ohm) but a bit short if you have one. Lacks a bit of juice to fully exploit the sub. The default weight 42 lbs, but the components must be quality ..... Reliability is to go. There are no XLR jacks on the back, 2 jack 1/4 for input and banana jacks for the outputs.

Used for 8 years, the Mx 1500a has never given any sign of weakness. It is a version of lifts Mx 1500:

Finally, it was the right signal diodes and protection. More than double joker reset the front, it's not a bad thing.

At the back, the XLR appeared, it was time.

Very robust, one interesting dynamic, even in 2 ohm version is below the Powerlight, while remaining pro-and high-end.

I have not been part of chanceus who benefitted from reduction by more than 30% end of its life business. The price became cheaper for the same rating as the SERIES crap it must be said, this price-US.
