« Audio Technica Pro 25 »

I like the high spl handling capability of the pro 25 as well as it's hypercardioid polar pattern. On stage needless to say a tight pick up pattern is a must!
The one thing I dont like about the mics is the "very slight" tonal inconsistency from mic to mic. This is fairly easily corrected with some eq magic however.
The universal mount is highly adjustable and the body of the mic is very low profile making it very versatile for instrument micing situations.
To say that it is rugged is an understatement. Mine have taken a beating and are still like new.
If any of you guitarists are looking for a dynamic mic alternative for your cabinet, you might consider the Audio Technica Pro25.
With its hypercardioid pattern, high spl handling, and freq resp leaning to the low to mid range it produces a fat beefy tone for both live and studio application.
