Sennheiser introduces the evolution e965 microphone, the brand's first ever large-diaphragm true condenser microphone.
According to Sennheiser, this e965 features a wide frequency range, extensive dynamics, and extremely low distortion. Designed for on-stage situations, the e965 also features an integrated pop shield and windshield as well as a dual-diaphragm transducer, which allows users to switch between cardioid and super-cardioid pick-up patterns. In case of high sound pressure levels, users can also switch on a pre-attenuation of –10dB while a low-cut filter eliminates impact noise and reduces the low-frequency overemphasis during close miking.
The evolution e965 will be available in stores in September 2008 for an MSRP of $878.00.
