I regularly use a Shure SM57 for sound with a trumpet and a flugelhorn in orchestral and jazz variety, I forgot my microphone during a rehearsal and I used the T-Bone MB85 (WHICH it is not designed to cause ...) in troubleshooting;
I was amazed, rendering the high notes, no saturation, crisp, what about the sound, I can play at 50cm. the microphone with his capture as good (or from the time one stays in front), I devote myself more to the hearts and also singing (baritone voice), the same conclusion, has to ask what justifies the difference price with a SM58 or SM57 (certainly the brand), other Shure enthusiasts can "demolish" material, in my case, I adopt it and I recommend it, remains to be seen what will overlook duration, but given the price ask for more ...

OVERALL OPINION

Value for money, nothing to envy to the Shure SM 57 or 58, I would even say that, considering the price, go for this material, you'll get your money. Given the material he looks suspiciously like the SM58, almost identical weight and the solid feel. I have used only three times, but I passed, considering the quality of bass and treble, which are sharp compared with a shure SM57, which is more muffled, I'm not a big technician, but (without boasting) I have a good ear for music and any musician that respect, will soon realize what I mean.
