If you do not have phantom power, you can put a battery LR6 lasts trs trs long (almost 2 years using the microphone three hours every Sunday).
I use it as a couple in overhead to record a jazz drummer.

OVERALL OPINION

I had one for 3 years.
I bought a deuxime dernire week for a couple overhead.
This mic is REMARQABLE a quality price ratio that seems really excellent + + + +
APRS galr have a lot to save the battery following (bad) advice of many sellers, I finally trimmed half mics I was using on the battery to keep only a micro drum (Sennheiser e 602) and with 2 overhead in atm33a thanks to (very good) advice found on Audiofanzine forums.
So I did more than my 2 ATM33a in overhead and the e 602. Your exact is excellent + + +
I can hear perfectly well the snare which "breathes" much better than before (I repremais with a Shure SM57), the cymbals are beautiful, the toms are not clumps.
In short, with only three mikes, your exact is really excellent.
So, I'm bored a lot less to mix with only three lanes instead of 6 before, and I no longer play on the EQ and compression on the right so as excellent and totally natural!
The only ATM33a cotent that pice 150 euros compared to Shure and I was using before e16 in overhead, there is no hsitation + + +
In short, great stuff for a price I paratdrisoire

Micro instrument intended rather to the scene. Cardioid electret.
For use with battery (AA standard) or better on phantom power (performance is much improved).
Comes with pliers, a saccoche and a windscreen that I rarely used to say what it's worth.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a little less than a year, especially in ORTF pair associated with a video camera (with a basic mixer to provide phantom power), and sometimes instruments (acoustic guitar, bass, accordion). This mic is very versatile. It is suitable for the voice in the interview, provided enough away from the microphone of the mouth. on the other hand, on stage, provide something essential to limit the plosives.
Its bandwidth is wide is linear (30Hz-20kHz). What I like most is its sweetness: the sound is never loud. The bass is a bit messy, not top a cello or double bass.
Paid 155 euros each. With experience, I would do maybe that choice, unless a pair of Oktava ... but they do not work on battery (useful when you find yourself out and about without mains supply nearby - that's what I decided at that time). In any case, I am totally satisfied. Even home-studio, it replaces the electrostatic pseudo-Neumann in the same price range.
