« The micro stereo Thor »
Published on 05/28/11 at 03:45It is a stereo electret microphone elements with 2 uni-directional and a fixed aperture of 120 °.
It comes with a 3-meter cable is integrated into 2 mono jacks fork 6.35.
Frequency Response: 40 to 18.000 Hz in "Music".
SNR: 47dB at 1kHz.
3 positions: Off / Music / Vocal
R14 battery operated 1.5 V
Placed in the middle of a dirty again, pointing to the ceiling, he captures everything perfectly and appears much better than a Zoom H2. But I intend to use it in time Ovi Head on one battery. I may as well get my small electrets to put them on the ride and Sharley history retrieve ping.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had little time ... bought in a bric-eighth pitcher, it's unbeatable (we just find it right now at 12 € or used on a website selling but the price may change if the seller reads this and learns that he is selling nine U.S. $ 139 in a shop specializing in vintage microphone)
So it's a great purchase.
The few negative poins (affects cable):
The integrated cable ... provided it takes a long time ...
3 meters, it's a fair bit ...
Jack 6.35, it's nice but it's a little semi / pro and a double with XLR balanced signal would have been perfect, here the signal is asymmetric and therefore less powerful.
Positives:
He has the class with its vintage look.
It is light enough.
It looks sturdy and capsules are well protected.
It has good features.
It's really cheap (well not for long! I'll maybe take me to 12 € in the spare!)
