OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year. For a variety of sounds taken: bootlegs of concerts, speeches, taken surround sound, etc..

For a price of around forty euros at the time, the result is satisfactory. The interest, except for omnidirectional directivity is the stereo and food included. Thus we can use it directly with an MD without worry. In addition the cable is long (2m or 2.50m), it is convenient. Besides it was with a table leg with a jack adapter and 6.3 -> 3.5. In short everything you need for portable recording. The microphone is solid, compact but practical nonetheless. Obviously quality does not compare with pro gear or semi-pro (like behringer condenser microphones) but not the purpose of this nice little micro

The mic that I bought really surprised me:
The box indicates a MONO mic electret, when in fact this stereo microphone is a microphone!
The jack has 3 rings and I test the scope, it behaves exactly like an MS pair.
The picture on the box by delegates from the switch facing upwards, and if it is used as a, the stereo is poor (S capsule is oriented toward the switch), it makes the stereo with the floor and the ceiling!
If used on a balance between Jack was the S Micro works because (M + S) - (MS) = 2 * S; in these terms, do not try to speak after microwave : you talk on the cot (the directivity pattern is S) and it is rather good in this configuration if you know this particular feature.
If used as a single example with a computer, so we have (M + S)!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months to make recordings of classical guitar on a good quality Voice Recorder Philips.
I have used many mics: Shure AKG Melodium
This microphone has all the bad luck of being used if we do not know its peculiarities.
I missed the strategy options for Philips wind a couple MS as a mono microphone! the sense of positioning n'tant not indicated it is likely to make the stereo with the ceiling and the floor.
I bought this microphone for me troubleshoot on vacation and I did not fall as curious about a product.
According to the use and comprhension that we had this product may produce the worst and the best!
