Cutting the pickguard, rippers, painting are generally well made. No defects.
The handle is niquel, well wrapped, the strings are low without frieze, the frets do not cut your fingers, no problems and maple veneer is pretty.

UTILIZATION

At the grip, that's really what I expected. The bass is quite light, 4Kg so for me, the stranger to JB is a small ash cloud!
The neck profile is totally my PB, the location of the microphones as well. Note that the microphones Crel feature a "hood" so the strings can not be in contact with the pads.
Something I always wanted to correct on every JB I had, and it finally is! They can be mounted above, which adds a certain comfort on bass.
The body is cut, quite comfortable. The bass does not sting at all of the nose, it is very balanced! Very good point.

SOUNDS

Very important point! It sounds exactly like I thought, and better!
The sound is almost no sound at all JB. It must be Crel mics, but it is very very responsive to how to play. It may as well have a clear sound with nice deep bass,
and then, without even changing the settings, have a sound dirty to Primus for example.
After the strings are still new, which helps.
Otherwise the whole, it's a rather roots, unlike other JB has a lot of serious, which surprised me since I have a maple fingerboard.
The bass is also very accurate, very nice!

OVERALL OPINION
