Value For Money :
Excellent
Passive bass made in France (prototype 96)
Body: Solid Maple U.S.
Neck: Maple 1 piece
Fingerboard: Rosewood 23 frets
Nut: Bronze
Hardware: Stainless steel plate Knob, mechanical and Gotoh bridge
Electronics: EMG
Micro: Crel MM42
Plaque: Madrone Veneer
Varnish: Satin Polyurethane redburst
UTILIZATION
The handle is nice but the fever is not very easy (like all bass musicman type).
the body is rather heavy and thus the head does not sting the nose, bass remains horizontal.
the knobs (volume, treble and bass) are very effective.
SOUNDS
I play mostly funk and hard on an amp orange 35B (12pouce hp) with effects for a wha-wha, a moog mf-101 and TBD (fuzz).
To slap, this bass has the advantage of having only one microphone and a lot of room but he cons better not put the volume pot of acute thoroughly at the risk of puncture eardrums.
With distortion, treble gives great clarity and depth, we get a sound very aggressive (well, perhaps due to my fuzz)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 6 months, I had a Storm before but I can not compare this bass to a piece of wood.
I love that sound, depth, presence, ease of play that even I do not like bin weight does not bother me.
I have been exchanged against 2 pedals so the price / quality ratio is great and with or without experience I will ever be this low because this choice is unique.
