This is an active bass with volume / bass / treble is all
The neck is very thin and allows small hands To approach the game without worries but it is a real handicap for the "big paws"

UTILIZATION

Handle very specific application is good practice and a little accuracy.
Access to acute is very easy by the shape of the body
Super lightweight (compared to a Fender Precision), it is forgotten.
Originally the sound is not very generous (live on a Di or a strip), but as soon as one has a tube preamp or a good bass amp, character n little too quickly cleared from come angry. Still a good sound does not s'obtien the first time.

SOUNDS

It should be more jazz, round and soft sounds that slap or punk (albeit with a bass pod ...)
It is connected to a XPOD Bass or a tube preamp and direct in the console.
The sound is pretty well detailed and round
The bass and midrange are not doing badly, the high mids are a bit Craux and treble must be pushed to apparaîtrent last.
I love the warm and comfortable in this low but it can not compete with a fender United States to 3000 € ... normal you say.

OVERALL OPINION

I have since 2005.
I like the look, finish and light weight of this bass
I like less cutting of the neck (I have big hands)
I chose to start and because I wanted a good bass for the studio.
I consider value for money unjustified, it costs more than it sounds compared to other basses.
With experience, set out the ease of the handle, I do not buy this bass is more expensive but better ... recess.
One last point, the luthrerie is very stable and once granted, it takes better in time and on the stage that my Fender Deluxe Precision States.
