UTILIZATION

I had some doubts about the width of the handle. In reality, it is very comfortable and fast. Certainly, we should not have tiny hands, but in fact it is less "log" my Cort Action IV yet thinner at this level. The profile of the Waters is more comfortable.
We are always looking for sleeves, whereas here a wider neck suits me perfectly.
But if you absolutely want to ultrathin Nut 38mm round type, forget this bass. The handle is wider and thicker.

Originally the Waters is set with a very low action and just intonation. I will not touch, it's perfect like that!

SOUNDS

Most importantly, the sound!

I turn on a H & k BassKick 200 - also tried a Fender BXR 100.

How to say? ... Just perfect :)
Imagine the sound Precision, but boosted release. There you will have understood the trick.
The SPB-3 literally boosts the sound. The output level is important.
The spectrum is wider at the top and bottom. Mediums are slightly widened. Bright treble. And low, low ah ... What happiness :) it knocks, here snores and it is accurate. I do not know what else to say.

Out of curiosity, I tried on the SPB-2 Waters. Ok, it sounds duller and it is much less punchy. Some say more vintage ...

To play Floyd (yes, I'm a fan of Pink Floyd), it's great. The sound is there. Certainly, we can say that we can have the sound of Waters with any Precision. Strongly agree, but not with the same ease, nor even fishing.
On the Fender BXR100, I got no problem sound One of These Days Version Pompei. Connoisseurs know what I mean.

Alternatively, you can type metal with here pass without any problems.
For the slap, the brightness of SPB-3 is a misfortune. You will be surprised :)

The sustain is just great - thank you brass nut on the way.

OVERALL OPINION

It's bass is just the summary of what I'm looking for a long time. I've always loved the sound Precision. I tried several, but this is my first and probably last. This Precision sound of madness and an exceptional finish.
Makes you wonder if this bass is really 100% Mexico. I tried ringing U.S. Precision less - including a 70 'moreover great, but not as punchy ...

To summarize:
- If you're a fan of Pink Floyd bassist with hands riquiqui not all, do not hesitate a single second!!
- If you are metalheads, ditto ...
- You love the Precision Bass, you'll pass out playing on it.

This bass is just amazing for the price. No interest in buying a U.S. unless the handle of the Waters you really put off (unlikely) ...
