Has my Rockline manufactured in the Toulouse region around 1986, no series of 169. There are 21 frets, micro precision and a jazz bass, each with their volume and tone. The handle is of type jazz bass in a little broader.
UTILIZATION
This handle is super pleasant although the treble is by CASC. It is a heavy instrument, but the massive form russia. It availing oneself of its original pickups and I find it very versatile, sound slap in the Pasto slamming through the heavy or mtallique, she accompanied me everywhere in every style. When I changed the knobs that same tired 2 years ago so it is still as effective.
SOUNDS
I play on a Hughes & Kettner BassKick 515. I base my rglage on the instrument and I no longer touch the knobs. I do not change my sounds with the Sound Matrix systm of the amp and I use an old Ibanez multi-effects Pue for 5 B sounds a little more colorful.
I thus obtain sounds that allow me to make very diffrents.Depuis styles this week (04/02/08), I mount the strings in flat files 40/95. Sr it, I slap a cross on the rings but round and warm, and I therefore use more multi-effects for this low. It is really great.
OVERALL OPINION
I had this bass for dfrtte 1991 1992 then I sold ..... and I bought in 1995 it has APRS collapse VCU in a punk band. I refrtt (and yes, there are punk playing frettless!) And I keep it! I had and tried many low but it suits me better ..
I t sometimes trying to change the pickups but in these cases I am the prter a jazz bass with a friend and whenever I shall later ..... I do not regret my choice and I do not give a price this low because even its default (not many) were transformed into quality time. All fawns, she is no longer manufactured and will never sell.
