4 string fretted bass with passive conductor Canadian maple neck 24 frets. The body is in cocobolo (or bubinga) very beau.La rosewood fingerboard para.Chevalet classic black, black oil bath mechanical as well (keeping the agreement without good) plastic nut. Seymour Duncan pickups Jazzbass basslines.Boutons settings black plastic (only ugly things about this bass in my opinion), volume, tone, mix micros.En Basically it is a classic passive Jazzbass with a neck-through.
UTILIZATION
The neck is perfect for me! The interface is really the highlight of this bass everything is good, it is light, well-cut: it "sticks to the belly" the handle is perfect. This is a bass with which you can play longer without burning your hands or the dos.Super access to acute (24 cases) with a good cutting permitted by the neck-through, also excellent for playing accords. On therefore obtained easy to sound good.
SOUNDS
The sound is precise Jazzbass typed with a little more low-medium. The sound is clean, a little too much for my taste. Very suitable for jazz, pop and funk that I play. Active electronics allow it, no doubt, also excel slap.
The output level is that of a passive bass, sometimes some effects have a little trouble hitting the (kind xotix Robotalk).
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 2 years now, and this is by far my main bass. It outperforms ergonomics all my previous low and the ones I've tried (except perhaps dingwall.) What I like most is the contact with this very suitable for my body rêve.La low ease of play has allowed me to progress as she tired to play and allows little time.
What I like least: the glossy black hardware.
Value fabulous prices used 700 euros.
I remake that choice, it's my favorite bass, since I frequent I almost sites classifieds low beam.
