UTILIZATION
Reported no table, no ornaments, just the right wood lumberjack (Ash / Maple / Ebony), rather well put together, a stupid acastillage unpretentious, active electronics rather simplistic and Bartos
no real effort as a aesthetics, just the very functional!
The weight not seem to me too during the first disabling grip, and I've been rather good accommodation (Thurs 4am sessions standing without pain).
SOUNDS
Here's what I think is empty
The sound is already very present, very incisive, accurate notes do well, no dead spots for the handle is comfortable and thin enough, the radius just delivered ... a true limousine!
Once connected to the amp, attention ears:
Many very serious, soft and precise, even really accurate (thank you the ebony fingerboard), it remains in the minds JazzBass!
The instrument responds well, with a slight dip in the midrange: Larry get out of this bass!
Resolutely cut for slap (quoique. ..), the combined prevalence of severe acute salient has learned really make double fatal, slamming a wish
Still slap I boost the treble a pouillème and there it is ==> "dance to the music!"
A little fingers to play now ...
The microphone has two volumes funds preamp completely flat, it sounds already, not at all hi fi but not too roots either, just well balanced, it goes everywhere despite the slight lack of midrange is round and linear over the range, no surprises, the notes all sound alike (I do not know if it's as clear explanation)
Just handle the volume down it growls, mediums out well, fingers wedged above the bridge pickup, it's hard attack, large dynamic! it pierces any mix!
Change of scenery, light cut plan ... jazz bass / treble, neck pickup has merits, bridge pickup volume reduced by half, the fingers between the start of the button and the neck pickup, I leave her a very wooded, boiling a wish, and always very accurate (I Love Ebony).
OVERALL OPINION
It is mine for over a year to date, and what I like most about this bass is its nature, has both very strong yet it allows to display a real Polyval!
