US-made late 70 '. 24 frets. 1 micro P. In short, exactly the same as the figure, except that I replaced the bridge with a Schaller. Channel semiconductor. It's pretty spartan as instrument, but no more than a Precision, and yet it works. The quality of an instrument is not measured by the number of knobs. However I put 7.
UTILIZATION
It's a short scale, therefore, very easy to handle, a pleasure that I have never found on any other instrument. Key 2-octave, therefore, very easy access to acute. Light, the shape is aesthetically questionable, due no doubt to whom the firm has closed its doors soon. The sound is good but typed, so no complaints.
SOUNDS
Unlike my predecessor test, I find it very suitable to play funk and slap; speed of play I have a precision that I use almost exclusively now because it is more versatile and I no longer plays funk. It is very typical (the Curlee) so it does not fit all, but unfortunately she does, she does it very well and is quite inimitable. It's called the poor man's Alembic, it said.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had almost 30 years and have never managed to separate myself, it's sentimental and I can not replace it with something comparable. I usually play live on the console, I had an Ashdown with 4 * 10 but too heavy (with age, we begin to think about his back), I have a small Marshall but my sound, I derived a GT-6B and a compressor Trace Elliot and I have a Jazz, Precision, a Michael Kelly acoustic, an Ibanez acoustic, a Yamaha BB1200 Fretless, a Gretsch, etc. ... In short, a little of everything .. And I put a 10, like ...
