Made in Germany, I was afraid to receive a bad surprise at the handle, I who am endowed with rather short fingers and disabled. I owned a Warwick Corvette to handle active beam that I quickly resold. It is not so with california, 39 precisely at nut so barely wider than a Jazzbass (38) The thickness is correct. UTILIZATION

The handle is quite comfortable, but my finger problems due to accident needed me specific requirements. So I think for the vast majority of bassists, the handle can be described as "very pleasant." OVERALL OPINION

I used 2 months, and I just sold it. I had a lot of bass in 45 years and if I'm not a great bass player, I have a passion for instruments. I had a Leduc among other masterpieces, Jazzbass a fender usa, Luthman a wave, a musicman sterling, and many other brands (arrival, Godin, Ibanez, Yamaha, Schecter Diamond J, warwick corvette, Squier jb sterling SB14 , sterling sub ray 4 and many other models).
I play with two speakers and a head 2X10 eden ebs reidmar 250 watts.

Conclude! good value for money for this bass. It will not disappoint, but if you're a molten 60s 70 this may not be what works for you ...
