Published on 02/22/12 at 04:29Then, to complicate things, the parts come from Korea to be assembled in Indonesia, once made instruments, they are sent in Orange, California for inspection, storage and distribution.
Therefore, it is a finite Asian to USD.
characteristics:

• Nut Width (mm): 41.3
• Rosewood
• 21 frets
• Pitch (mm): 864
• Schaller

UTILIZATION
Then, to clarify the situation, I effecté the test in a store in Grenoble by comparing the original musicman stingray ray and 34 honey burst finish.
the handle is as nice as the stingray, which is even better because it is flamed maple on the store and softer.
Ergonomics is the same as the stingray and access to acute.
the sound is that of the musicman stingray, nothing more, nothing less!
SOUNDS
it is well suited to reggae to funk, rock, slap: Special mention groove (well mediums present).
I plugged into a Genz-Benz NEO 3.5 and it was really good.
it is a low groove made for it is this well rounded and bursting into mediums that I liked.
on the other hand, it's hard to play anything else!
OVERALL OPINION
I have tried only 1 hour but it's enough to make the comparison with an original stingray.
for models I tried, see my other test benches ...
For me, the price / quality ratio is undeniable; € 1029 against nearly 2000 € for the original stingray.
the musicman stingray you in 2 times cheaper with a finishing equal or even better!
honestly, it's a really lower than I liked to play.
for those who find it hard to believe what I say, go try it and be surprised!
to advise the stingray lover and those who swear by this sound ..
