UTILIZATION

That said it remains comfortable to play.
The handle is a delight, it is big and round, however, it does not please everyone; matter of taste and technique of play

SOUNDS

Simply put, it's heavy, fat, round, warm and fat! Sounds Fender, Squier, Cort, Ibanez, G & L are light years away. It is a sound enough roots and task, but without falling into the mud.

To complicate things, I feel like a true bass sound, the highs are apparent from the masses in a general mix. This is very serious medium and low, but see dark set.
On this model the electronic interaction with a large and very progressive, full of effort but that sounds flashy, crystal-like piano and we forget!

When you play it you have to feel the bass underfoot, low / medium in the face and acute behind.

The spirit of sound is Gibson, but not too much grain color yes.

OVERALL OPINION

For the price it buried without problem and the options and approaches € piphone very clever Gibson would do its set neck and passive electronics.
Yes I do it again this election if my budget does not m'aurorise more, not if I can afford such a RIC ...

It is an instrument unpretentious not look for its visual quality (fintion here) but we feel that there is a certain quality and significant suggesting that the instrument will improve with time.

Value for money excellent because the ear is really bad and that many are biased (which spin round) and that exceeds the 1000 € Gibson.
