- 4 strings

- Pickups Jazz Bass / Precision passive.
- For potentiometers, when I got it, they were not working, I know there is a switch and three others (volume / tone, but I could not tell which)

The pickups are not great, but the violin is for this low price (bought for 100 € used), very good.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very comfortable. I was able to test Ibanez basses, I did not really like, comparing to it. I would say it is closer to a Jazz Bass neck.

The shape is rather convenient to play standing as seated.

Access to acute is better than most bass I've experienced.

For sound, you must change the pickups if you want something really good. (Although for beginners, it is very good)

SOUNDS

I play mostly Metal. And it suits me well, without being great.

The result is a more neutral sound. (Although a little more fat than glossy)

I play with an amp simulation Line6 POD Farm.

on the other hand, with a large distortion (Boss Metal Core), I can not seem to get something listenable. (A big flaw for a Cliff Burton fan like me)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few years (4 years, I would say), but much more seriously for two years.
