Best value: Excellent
It's a 4 string bass, passive, 21 frets, two pickups (J a position P in an acute and severe), a 3 position selector, volume and Tone (acute).
Average weight, pretty, a little long (the head is large, can cause a problem to cover ...).
It is manufactured today.

UTILIZATION

The highlight of this bass is its handle. Lightweight, it is enjoyable to play trs, and above all it is fixed thanks a continuation in the body, without the mounting block the Fender. Rsultat: a CASC until the 21th box as easy as any other box (really!). Side of the mdaille: forcment, lack of EHJV in the low and the nut gnralement prs, as with many low-round lightweight ...
Otherwise, a low versatile, easy to play, allowing a lot.

SOUNDS

In sound, as prcis aforesaid, the problem is low: the handle is hard to hold the entire string heavy. Rsultat: lack of EHJV in the low register: say below the 3rd position on the strings of E and A. But with a good amp, has spent much trs.
on the other hand, a nickel in his register and mdium acute.
The Tone is present, but not too much (it is a passive).
Minten I have a Stingray, I use less, but I have not sold because it is produced today (at least it is in the catalog Yamaha ...). I use it again from time to time to regain its liabilities, including jazz or song.

OVERALL OPINION

I have since ... about 2 years. Before I pass by a Mexican Fender precision deue me ... With the purchase, I had the choice with Fernandez and I have long hsit. Finally, I am a good choice. It cost me 550 euros, c'tait a promo. I would sell, but if the case is Submitted, I would sell more expensive!
In any case, the report qualitprix is excellent, as is often the Yamaha.
Conclusion: if you come across one, try it, was worth it!
Note: the notes are purely subjective ...
