Value For Money : Poor
Korean bass; copy Jazzbass
jb were two microphones (one suspects) a tailpiece JazzBass classic style, in short it does not last: it was just all the features of a JB, apart from the head, can be chouille a narrower head than JB, but still the same shape.

From the intersection of scarce reccueillir info on the net, Young Chang, famous for its pianos, has signed a contract with Fender in the late 80's, to produce the Squire guitars and basses. We know that the Squire of this period are of a quality other than any that now haunt the shop of guitars, woods, varnishes etc. are fairly close to the quality of Fender Japan.
End 90, Fender will break the contract with the manufacturer Young Chang, who will continue the production of guitars and basses under the name "Young Chang" with specifications almost identical apparently. The following year, following a trial which saw competed Fender, guitars Young Chang disappear to make room for instruments "Fenix", already a lower quality and with modifications notament at the t ^ te of instrument.

UTILIZATION

The handle is the first point that struck me (OUCH!). It's butter! I immediately had the feeling of playing on a JazzBass it is super fine and, although made in one piece, it turns out to be quite right. The estimated 18 or 19 years that separates us from the manufacturing process have done nothing to bend the neck; I take it that the wood appears to be reliable and well seasoned, rather surprising for a low price when purchased at a paltry !
Once I hand it is automatic in hand slap yourself (though it usually slap the stuff myself) is there butter slapper dessus.J imagine a maple fingerboard with the clicking sound!
The weight is light enough (besides, I do not find myself in the previous opinion on this point), access to freight BEHIND quite normal, and finally as a Jazzbass. Well I think I prefer a 24 fret, but ...

Question fittings; disagree again on previous opinions: Unless of course that the mine's previous owner had upgraded him to change, the mechanics who are super efficient compared to the cort or ibanez base. They are Type JazzBass standard with a allen key system used to I do not know what good but this has got to make a little extra, the bridge is quite simple, I feel maisque any time a little beefier than the simple piece of folded sheet found on the JB mex.Rien revolutionary, just little things that make me say once again that she was done with some attention.

SOUNDS

Sound is another strong point, I find it pretty accurate, right, clapping, percussive. She has personality, a sound quite modern.
It is a fairly rich in its overall midrange, with a good attack pronancée. We will probably use it very versatile, but I think we will find happiness in her particularly jazz-rock records, salsa, finally, for music and slap it or it phrasouille gladly.
A small regret though: the balance of micro Knob turns out to be quite inefficient: it is hard enough to have shade between the two microphones at the same time and it means only one or two microphone. Basically the Knob not playing its role as 1 mm or 2; hard enough to use in these conditions. I finally replaced by that of an electronic Jazzbass mexico which is in pieces and the result is better, but still not transcendant.j imagine that lay there on an active electronic bass will more than nice !

OVERALL OPINION

Note that I found in a depositary for sale at a ridiculous price, I asked to try it soon I think that obviously the sellers are not able to estimate the instrument. I paid less than 90 € (a good stroke of luck), and yet it has properties that do not lie.
Timber quite honest (more than Fender mexico, I'm far back!), Ergonomics has nothing to envy to JB, microphones that give us a precise sound, with percussive personality ... what to say except that this bass is a very good bass?!
Good will remain the electronics that is not top, but at the price or I've found we will not complain.

So I explain my enthusiasm for this bass, what I like is to buy low and are not expensive though. This is the case for it, but I relativized and I really think the seller was mud in the eye, and yet I do not think his side will surpass € 450/500. This is not a Lakland or I do not know what, nothing that can justify a high price.
But personally I think that, just as other instrument "Lawsuits" (Greek, some Ibanez 70's ...) was just a good bass at incredibly low prices.

I put it in opposition to the bad Fender or Gibson inroyablement current price level. I see no shame there to play a secondary instrument brand when you have the same quality (sometimes better) than a legendary brand that makes us climb to double or triple the prices of wood and varnish drying doubtful color plasticky, under the pretext that there are marked above the name of a brand that does bien.Voilà was my opinion ...
